The Face of the Lion

I saw the body of Christ as a corporate entity manifesting the 4 faces of God. We were flickering in and out… Lion, Eagle, Ox, Man. As each face manifested, it released that aspect of God’s character and nature into us and through us into creation. I noticed that the Lion face stayed in focus a bit longer. It seemed to be the emphasis for this season. The Lion is all about dominion, learning to rule and reign in heaven and upon the earth.

Then I heard a word of encouragement from Father: “Do not be discouraged or grow weary in well-doing, young sons. The way of learning to rule and reign is hard by Divine design, for overcomers must have something to overcome. And dominion begins in your own being, establishing authority over places you never even knew existed. Like the Israelites in the wilderness, you are a transition generation – no longer slaves of sin, the world or religion, but not yet walking as kings of the new land and all that I have promised and already given to you. You have come out of slavery, but this season is about getting the slavery out of you, so you are able to steward the authority, the land and the promises that are already YES and AMEN!

I am even this day releasing a wind of refreshing… fresh insight to refresh your weary souls, to renew your vision (your “why”) and to encourage your hearts. Know that I am Faithful. I will do all that I have promised, for I cannot do otherwise. But this season is not about the destination; it is about the process. It is about the transformation (soul) and transfiguration (body)that is taking place in you, so that you can steward the “land of milk and honey.”

So rest in My promises. Yield. Trust. Allow the slave/victim within you to die in this wilderness, for slaves can never possess the land. Do not gauge your success or failure by mileage (they wandered in circles, and God was leading them!) or by time (they wandered long enough for all the victims to die). Know that the Joshua and Caleb is arising within you this day. What is time? Caleb lost nothing in those 40 years.”

Holy Spirit then reminded me of something a friend shared with me yesterday… how thanksgiving is a key to overcoming and also to multiplication. Jesus gave thanks before He multiplied the loaves and fishes. He reminded me that the pruning always comes before the multiplication, because Rabah (the angel of multiplication) creates “more of the same.” We are being purged of our inner slavery, so that the Promised Land is not filled with slaves who cannot exercise dominion over it. He said, “Thank Me in all things. Thank Me that You have been given something to overcome – in order that you might gain authority. Victims escape hardship and quit when things get tough or when they don’t see immediate fruit. The ratio of Joshuas and Calebs to the people is small. Today’s spiritual forerunners are the spies being sent into the land to see what is coming. What is your report?”
