Several months ago, we talked about Genesis 30 and how Jacob saw the miracle of the spotted and speckled livestock first with the eyes of his heart (his imagination). He then placed external anchors of striped branches before the natural eyes of his livestock. The striped branches resembled the striped livestock he had seen in his dream, providing a place of agreement between the spiritual and natural, between the invisible and visible. By beholding this anchor, the livestock themselves were pulled into the place of agreement, and the anchor became a gateway for physical manifestation. You’ve learned that you become what you behold with the eyes of your heart, but this story reveals that you become what you behold with your physical eyes, too.
Your outward world cannot help but to reflect your inward story.
External, physical things are both manifestations of your inner world and points of agreement to keep the miraculous within you working its way out and into physical manifestation. They are not meant to be a substitute for God’s life within (that’s called religion). They are not magic potions or formulas, and our trust is not in them but in God, who is our Source. But they are designed by God to anchor spiritual reality in the natural world, so that it can manifest physically. External things alone cannot compensate for internal sabotage, but they can help to reveal and dislodge it. They can create outward momentum, displacing inertia by simply helping you to begin moving in the right direction. If your external anchors have the same frequency as that thing you are creating from within, they help to raise your frequency, so that you externally resonate what you desire. And remember… you draw to yourself what you resonate!

Everything that exists has an electrical frequency. Science defines frequency as the measurable rate of electrical energy that is constant between any two points. Basically, it is the life energy of God flowing through all that He spoke into existence. And because frequency is the life flow of God, the closer to God and to His original design something is, the higher its frequency will be.
In 1992, Bruce Tainio developed equipment that was able to measure the biofrequency of humans and food and to observe the effects of frequency upon the human body. Here is what he discovered:
* Average human body during daytime hours: 62-68 MHz
* Average human brain: 72-90 MHz
* Processed/canned foods: 0 MHz
* Fresh produce: up to 15 MHz
* Dry herbs: 12-22 MHz
* Fresh herbs: 20-27 MHz
* Essential oils: 52-320 MHz
Tainio’s study also revealed that sickness and disease began when the body resonated at 58 MHz and below. He discovered that negative thoughts lowered the measured frequency by 12 MHz, that positive thoughts raised the measured frequency by 10 MHz and that prayer and meditation increased the frequency levels by 15 MHz. Think about it… faith is the substance of things hoped for. Faith has a frequency, and so does fear. So does love. Healthy food has a frequency, and so does junk food. Glucose (food) is an external source of life energy, yet it is one of the lower forms. Bio-photons (light particles) have a higher frequency. And, of course, the very highest form of energy is THE light – the glory of God! Remember that you are a gate, so when the frequency of your earthly gatepost (your physical body) agrees with the frequency of your heavenly gatepost (your spirit), a channel is created through which your “normal” can manifest in physical form! Over the next few weeks, we’ll talk about some powerful external anchors like communion, worship, human touch, obedience and engaging with heavenly beings, which will help you to help manifest your “normal.”
