Wearing His Faces

I was standing before the Lord, as His face flickered Lion, Ox, Eagle, Man… As I gazed at His beautiful faces, my face began to reflect His. He then began to show me how each face and these facets of His nature manifest through His sons in creation.

First, He revealed the Lion, and I drew near to Him. Though He is not a tame lion, He is gentle and kind, allowing me to caress His face. His eyes were brilliant fire. He is fierce and unrelenting. He is strong and powerful. He is exquisite in every way. His eyes pierce right through me. His roar shakes me to my core, revealing and eradicating everything that is not wholly His. He was roaring over me, “She’s mine” over and over and over, and the frequency of His sound was creating that reality in me. He was teaching me that as we (He and I) roared into the earth, our roar released His fire that devours His enemies.

A fire goes before Him,
And burns up His enemies round about.

– Psalm 97:3, NKJV

As I wore the face of the Ox, breathing in and out the breath of YHVH, earth began to take on the form of heaven. It looked like modeling clay, and I, as the Ox, was forming His will and His image here.

Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

– Matthew 6:10, NKJV

Then I drew near to the Eagle. He was releasing a prophetic cry that I am learning to emulate. But it was His eyes that captivated me. There is not a word to describe them, but piercing is the closest. He sees everything. Everything. As I wore the face of the eagle, I flew straight into the contrary winds of this world and of the cares of life. As the eagle, those contrary winds only served to carry me higher into the heavenly realm. And from that place, I spread my wings out over everything He has entrusted to me, releasing light and life.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

– Luke 13:34, NKJV

As the man, I functioned as “Christ in me, the hope of glory,” allowing Him to wear me like skin. Just like Him, I wore the garment of a servant, yet walked in the supernatural realm effortlessly, because I only did what I saw my Father doing. I was a tangible demonstration of the fact that He is the firstborn among many brethren.

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

– Romans 8:29, NKJV

After this understanding came, I realized that all He wanted me to do was just to sit and gaze at His beautiful faces, feasting on the glory of His existence and majesty. I heard Him urging me, Don’t let your thoughts wander. Stay fixed and focused on Me.

So, in your encounter time with the Lord, begin to engage with His faces. Don’t strive. Just gaze, knowing that what you experience in the heavenly realm WILL manifest in and through you in the earth.

Until next time,
Virginia
