John G. Lake, a well-known healing evangelist in the early 1900’s, was in South Africa when there was an outbreak of the bubonic plague. People were getting sick and dying all around him, and everyone was afraid that if they would bury the dead, they would contract the disease…everyone except Lake. He worked tirelessly, day in and day out, burying as many people as possible, until doctors and more helpers arrived. When they asked him how he protected himself from contracting the disease, he replied that the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus protected him against every germ. The doctors thought his reply was hilarious, so Lake proposed an experiment. He told one of the doctors to collect saliva from one of the people who had died from the plague and to view the germs under a microscope. Then, he had them place those same germs in his hands and view them again. The doctors were astonished to see that the germs all died when they touched Lake’s skin!
And these kinds of miracles are still happening today. Recently, Sean Feucht interviewed an Iraqi man who was visited by Yeshua in a dream. After his encounter, ISIS began pressuring him to deny Christ and convert to Islam. When he refused, they tried to stone him, but he was supernaturally protected. After their unsuccessful attempt at stoning him, ISIS members drenched him in 20 gallons of gasoline and tried to burn him alive a total of three times, yet he survived unharmed. “And they burned me, but I didn’t burn,” he said, crediting Jesus for his miraculous survival! When spiritual reality finds full agreement in the physical body, anything is possible!
In the Divine pattern of creation, Holy Spirit correlates with your emotions, but He lives in your body, just as He lived in the body of Yeshua. And, just like He raised Him from the dead, He is the agent of resurrection life in your body, too! Miracles flow effortlessly through you when you are in agreement with God and with yourself, and Ruach HaKodesh, the indwelling Spirit of God, personifies that agreement, as He lives in your body and agrees with Himself, who is one with your spirit! The ultimate agreement of His life flowing unhindered through you has the power to transform physical reality by the power of His presence!
Our union with Christ further reveals that because the same Spirit that awakened the body of Jesus from the dead inhabits us, we equally participate in his resurrection. In the same act of authority whereby God raised Jesus from the dead, He co-restores your body to life by His indwelling Spirit. –Romans 8:11, MIRB
