Revelation gives birth to Wisdom. The Lord gives revelation, often instructing us on what to do in a given situation or telling us something that, to the natural mind, makes no sense, something that we previously had no grid for or that we do not understand at all. We listen. We step out in obedience. Understanding may come as our obedience and its results continue to unfold. In this way, Wisdom is born. Then, next time, we do not need to wait for Revelation (except to be led as to whether this truth is true for this particular situation and this time). We are governed by Wisdom.
