We don’t rule and reign out of 5-fold ministry. That is for ministry to the Body of Christ. We can only rule and reign out of sonship. When God releases the spirit of adoption, He removes all that hinders us from seeing Him as Father and all that hinders us from seeing ourselves as sons. And He imparts: identity, belonging, provision, protection, inheritance, and authority.
When we do not truly know the Father because of our own “father wounds” or unmet needs, and we try to rule and reign out of our gifts and callings, we will inevitably misuse our position.
