Ezekiel 1:15-22: “As I watched the four creatures, I saw something that looked like a wheel on the ground beside each of the four-faced creatures. This is what the wheels looked like: They were identical wheels, sparkling like diamonds in the sun. It looked like they were wheels within wheels, like a gyroscope. They went in any one of the four directions they faced, but straight, not veering off. The rims were immense, circled with eyes. When the living creatures went, the wheels went; when the living creatures lifted off, the wheels lifted off. Wherever the spirit went, they went, the wheels sticking right with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When the creatures went, the wheels went; when the creatures stopped, the wheels stopped; when the creatures lifted off, the wheels lifted off, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.”
I once heard Ian Clayton say that one of the functions of the wheels is to bring cycles back around. The Lord then began speaking to me, showing me that when something is supposed to happen but doesn’t, He brings it back around – only this time, it is even greater than it would have been before.
Greek thinking is linear, but Hebrew thinking (like creation) is cyclic.
Satan takes a gamble when he blocks, prevents or delays God’s promises, because if we do not quit or give up, the end result is exponentially greater than it would have been before (think Isaac, John the Baptist, Samuel).
As we, the mature sons of God, arise and take our place of authority in heaven and upon the earth, we will begin to exercise our God-given authority over time, which is a created thing. The sun, moon and stars were given to us for signs and for seasons (Genesis 1:14). These heavenly signposts were thrust out of alignment at the fall, and they are longing to be brought back into proper alignment with their Creator. This is why creation is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19-23).
The New Age and the occult are walking in a measure of stolen truth in their understanding of the stars, but as children of God, we have full access to the counsel rooms of heaven, as well as “all authority” given to us by Yeshua (Luke 10:19). So, out of our place of absolute trust and total abandon to our Father, we exercise our authority, bringing alignment to His times and seasons in our lives.
We still have much to learn about the mysteries of heaven. But the Father encouraged me to continue to step out with this assurance: “By following the leading of My Spirit, you can successfully operate in things you do not fully understand. Of course, as maturity comes, greater understanding comes. But even a child can reap the benefits of endless knowledge, because I know all things. All you must do is stay close to Me, be led, follow, yield, flow….”
