We’ve been talking about external points of agreement, outward things that agree with your inward miracle and help it to work its way outward. Another high frequency external anchor is safe, pure, loving human touch.
After witnessing numerous cases of cancer remission associated with a healer who used “laying on of hands,” William Bengston of St. Joseph’s College embarked upon an experiment. He and his colleagues obtained 5 laboratory mice who had been injected with cancer and who had a 100% predicted mortality rate within 14 to 27 days of injection. Bengston treated these mice with the “laying on of hands” for one hour per day for one month. The tumors developed a blackened area, then they ulcerated, imploded and closed, and the mice lived their normal life spans. Control mice sent to another city died within the predicted time frame. Three replications using skeptical volunteers, including David Krinsley of the University of Oregon, as well as laboratories at Queens College and St. Joseph’s College, produced an overall cure rate of 87.9% in 33 experimental mice. An even more remarkable fact was that when the mice in remission were reinjected with cancer, it did not take, suggesting that the laying on of hands served to permanently stimulate their immunological response. Human touch, in itself, has healing power.
Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh have proven that receiving hugs helps people to respond to conflict and stress in healthier ways. In another study published by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, it was discovered that holding someone’s hand actually relieved pain through shared empathy. Healthy, appropriate, loving touch triggers the release of oxytocin, a chemical that fosters empathy, trust and the ability to handle stress.
Of course, these studies, from a purely scientific perspective, are telling us what we already know from the Word of God. Loving human touch is a high frequency external anchor that helps to manifest miracles!
And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them. –Mark 16:17-18, TPT
