God kept releasing a flow of extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul. –Acts 19:11, TPT
We see from this passage that extraordinary miracles flowed through the hands of Paul. And if there are extraordinary miracles, there must be ordinary ones! Because you are created in the image of God, miracles are normal for you. They are simply your original design. We have called them “miracles,” but they are actually “normals!” In I Corinthians 12:10, when Paul mentions the working of miracles, the Greek word dunamis is used. It is Strong’s #G1411, which literally means:
1. strength, power, ability
2. inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a
person or thing exerts and puts forth
3. moral power and excellence of soul
This same Greek word dunamis is also the word describing the strength that flowed into Sarah, allowing her to miraculously conceive her child of promise.
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. –Hebrews 11:11, NKJV
Some versions translate this same word as “ability.” And The Passion Translation says it this way:
Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into his faithfulness. –Hebrews 11:11, TPT
The definition of dunamis as being “moral power and excellence of soul” describes perfectly our original design before the fall. And it also describes the state which has been restored to us by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Miracles are normal because they are a manifestation of mankind’s original design, which Adam lost, and Christ restored to us at salvation! We are not making something happen. Remember… in the Father’s heart, everything (including your “normal”) already exists in its entirety. Everything that survives the Flame of Yah is already yes and amen! All we are doing is getting into alignment (both with God and with ourselves), so that we are an unobstructed channel through which miracles (“normals’) can flow from heaven to earth, from invisible to visible, from eternal to temporal. We are simply allowing the thought of the Father, the emotion of the Spirit and the word of the Son to take on flesh and dwell among us!
The creative process is not random, nor is it mysterious, nor is it confined to God’s sovereignty or to a “super- spiritual” few. It is a spiritual law, following a very clear and very simple pattern which works for whoever applies it. Elohim has modeled for us what is possible, and it is His life creating through us as we yield. Say to yourself, “I was created for this!”
