Recently, I asked the Father to give me eyes to see what is important and what is not. Suddenly, I found myself in a place in the heavenly realm that resembled the New York Stock Exchange. It was very obviously a trading platform, but was not the Trading Floor on the Sea of Glass where I have been before. This one was filled with activity and countless people. Everyone was trading all the time, whether they knew it or not. And, just like the NYSE, there was a huge board with the names of every commodity and its value written in letters of red, glowing light. Using this board, it was very easy to see which commodities were of value and which were not. Yet, very few people even looked up from their frantic activity to see it. Behind this board, the 7 Spirits of God (Isaiah 11:1-2) were the ones creating the letters, making true value plainly visible to anyone who would just look.
In the earthly realm, commodities with greater value are the ones everyone is buying. But here, in this upside down (actually, right side up) kingdom, it is the very opposite.
Because I looked up at the board longing for wisdom, I was invited into a private classroom, where Wisdom stood as the teacher. All who longed for her were invited; yet there were so few present…
Wisdom began by explaining that all investments fall in one of three categories: 30-fold, 60-fold and 100-fold. Then she shared five specific criteria that determine something’s true value. Over the next few weeks, I will share this brilliant wisdom with you, one at a time. It really helped to bring clarity concerning what I am to prioritize and invest my life in, and I believe it will do the same for you. So, stay tuned…
