If you’ve been tracking with me for awhile, you know that I usually send out a reminder each year of the amazing season that we are about to step into… a season when the Father has actually knitted into the fabric of time an extra measure of grace to break negative cycles and to even redeem time that has been lost! This season is a 40-day period which begins with the Hebrew month of Elul and ends with the Day of Atonement. This year, it will begin at sundown on Wednesday, August 16th and will end on September 24th.
During these weeks, I usually set aside as much time as possible to read through and pray through dreams, encounters and words from the Lord that I have received over the years. I am always amazed at the precious treasures I have simply forgotten about, as well as the things I have neglected to follow through with. This season is an opportunity to reflect, to repent for anything we have neglected and to receive a course correction and a redeeming of time. And it is our Father’s delight to do this!
