In Hebraic thought, Ruach HaKodesh is the power emanating from God’s name, which breathes life into all of creation. The aspirated consonants of God’s name, YHVH (Yod, Hei, Vav, Hei) even sound like breathing, especially the letter Hei. In both Hebrew and Christian mysticism, Hei represents the Ruach, the breath of God. As you see, God’s own name contains two Hei’s, which speak of the upper breath and the lower breath, the inhale and the exhale. He breathes out life, and all of creation breathes Him in. And as His gates, we breathe in heaven and breathe out on the earth.
The unfathomable cosmos came into being at the word of the Eternal’s imagination, a solitary voice in endless darkness. The breath of His mouth whispered the sea of stars into existence.

The word breath here is once again Ruach.
Recently, as I was praying in the Spirit, I saw the Father breathing His breath through us into the earth. I could see the wind of the breath, and then it turned into Jacob’s ladder. Immediately, I thought of DNA, but when I read Genesis 28, I realized that Jacob’s ladder was about God’s promise to give Jacob and his descendants the land!
Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants…”

I ascended that ladder and embraced Yeshua in the heavenly realm. His arms were outspread wide and, in His embrace, His multicolored robe covered me. I felt so safe in His presence. And as I laid my head on His chest, I could hear the beating of His heart, which I knew was the sound of the nations. Still in His embrace, He spread out His garment over the nations, saying, “Will you marry Me?” He was offering pure and selfless love, love that already led Him to lay down His life. He was also offering freedom to choose Him or not. In stark contrast to the demonic agenda to enslave the nations through trickery, He desires voluntary lovers. The adversary promises wealth, favor, power and happiness in the beginning, but those things are nothing but the bait in a trap that leads to slavery and death. Our God, on the other hand, requires that we count the cost, laying down everything in love, just as He did. But the end of that road is His unfathomable love and limitlessness. As one, He and I spread out “our” garment over the nations, releasing a revelation and a reality of perfect love. His kiss is awakening mankind from a deep, demonically induced slumber of death. We have been calling for the “kings of the earth” to kiss the Son in the form of repentance (Psalm 2). Now, I was calling for all mankind to kiss Him, too, and to awaken from programming and slumber. Then, He and I began to dance, and He led our feet to be placed on specific geographical places in the earth with great intent.
Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory.

Today, wherever you are on this geographical earth, will you join me in dancing with the King of Kings, spreading out His garment and wooing the nations into His embrace? He is pouring out His Spirit. As gates of heaven, I believe that if we open up and invite the King of Glory to come in, He will!
