Jesus is the Light of the world, and He says that we, the sons of God, are the light of the world, too. As we learn from the parable of the 10 virgins, the oil of our lives are to be a costly, extravagant “waste” (to the carnal mind) poured out upon the feet of the One who is worthy – not into the lamps of those who refuse to fill their own lamps with His presence.
In this teaching, we will engage with the Son of Man, who fully understands and who, wearing His priestly garment, dances among His church, tenderly filling us with oil.
