During a recent time of worship, the Father revealed that we are like newborn babies in a brand new place. It is as if we have been born again, again–this time into the reality of the heavenly realm where we have already been seated. Our eyes need time to adjust to the light of our new surroundings, because our eyes have been accustomed to this earth realm. We conformed to this mirage unknowingly, thinking that this darkness is light and that this illusion is real. Our eyes have been focused on the temporal rather than the eternal.
We are vulnerable in this newfound place, and the Father is spreading His protective wings over us, nurturing us, giving our eyes time to adjust to the light of His countenance, His glory and His smile in this heavenly dimension.
Many of us had our “eagle eyes” opened during the last season, as God released the revelatory gifts to His body in great measure. And many of these eagles have been through a molting season, where they have walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Now, their youth is being renewed (Isaiah 40:28-31) and they are being given wings to fly. Before, they had eyes to see the Spirit realm; now they are being given wings to go there and are learning how to live from that place. They are going from revelation to encounter.
Then a portal opened.. a gate, a door… and these eagles flew in and out, in and out, up and down. They were preparing the way for the King of Glory to come through the gate! “Hosanna, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
