Knowing God’s voice is the key to overcoming religion, because religion is all about following a formula. It is also the key to victory. Following the words or thoughts of man causes you to attempt to do, in the power of the flesh, what God may not be telling you to do at that time. So, either you will succeed in your own strength (which breeds pride and self-sufficiency) or you will fail (which causes condemnation and false guilt). But the voice of God breaks the heavy yoke!Because they very word of God is the essence of life itself, when God reveals and speaks something to us, His words automatically release the grace to obey.
The most important thing for a new believer to learn is to hear and experience God for himself.
