I often go to a place in the heavenly realm, where I worship the Lord on a beautiful, black grand piano. The last time I turned my attention to that place, I noticed that I was also dancing before Him. There was another “me” waving … Continue readingPainting His Picture
In a recent encounter, I saw a herd of horses…. wild, fierce, strong, fast as lightning. At first they appeared to be untamed because they had no bit or bridle (yoke of man), but then I realized that they were the King’s horses. They did not need an external yoke because they wore His yoke. His law (an even higher standard) was written upon their hearts.
I once heard that, when selecting horses for the king, the potential horses were put through rigorous training. Then, exhausted and thirsty, they were allowed to run toward the water. At the very last moment, they were given the command to stop. Only the horses that obeyed were selected for the service of the king. Today, I feel that the Father wants to encourage some people concerning the “hardness” of things in their lives right now. Yes, the resistance is often demonic in origin, but it filters through our Father’s hand UNTO our overcoming. Every sacrifice tips the scales of His justice on our behalf. Be encouraged. Be strengthened this day. Be renewed in strength and grace and purpose. You are entering another gate and with that, promotion and increased authority and dominion… as you are trained to be His “wild” stallion. … Continue readingThe King’s Horses
God is never the author of evil. It is our adversary who seeks to “steal, kill and destroy.” Our Father DOES, however, give us opportunities to OVERCOME evil, knowing that suffering produces a brokenness and humility in us that nothing else can accomplish. This brokenness doesn’t earn His blessing, but, if we respond correctly, it does serve to break the dominion of the flesh, which, in turn, allows us to receive and steward the blessings He is constantly pouring out. This is why God loves a broken and contrite spirit. … Continue readingLeveraging Your Suffering
I was praying and heard, “The gold and the glory, the gold and the glory, the gold and the glory.” Then the Lord said, “I am releasing the gold and the glory to My people who have submitted to the process of refining, to those … Continue readingThe Gold and The Glory
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” (IICorinthians 4:17) In heaven’s economy, the trade for glory is hardship. Why? Do we earn that which has been freely given to us through … Continue readingTrading Hardship for Glory
Yesterday, as I was walking on the Ancient Paths with my Father, He took me by the hand and led me to a section of His garden that was a beautiful vineyard, filled with luscious grapes. He was walking through the arbor, tenderly caring for … Continue readingThe Wine of Waiting
Did you know that “Your destiny is wrapped up in the same package as the resistance to that destiny!”? It is a spiritual law that we cannot have one without the other. Why? First, it is simply because “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” … Continue readingRunning With The Horses
