We’ve talked about personal transition during the Hebrew month of Elul and the abundant grace that is being poured out to break free of negative cycles. We’ve talked about the massive shift the Body of Christ is currently experiencing and how to maneuver through this transition with grace and ease. But did you know that we are right in the middle of a cosmic shift… one that is so massive we have not seen anything like this for two thousand years?
A little over a year ago, Holy Spirit began speaking to me from Isaiah 40:22:
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
I saw God unrolling the heavens like a scroll, as they continually told their story. His hands were holding the top and bottom ends of this scroll, and as He unrolled it, the planets and stars began to form pictures that looked like a child’s “dot to dot” coloring book. Then He said to me, “A lot of ridiculous ‘end times’ speculation of men would not happen if they would just read this book. It’s not magic or fortune telling. It is simply reading the book I have written and placed in the sky for all to see. It speaks of the fact that time is cyclic, not linear.“
This scroll written in the stars is described with the Hebrew word Mazzaroth, which basically means the constellations and is found in Job 38:31-33. The demonic counterfeit is also found in Scripture. It is the Hebrew word “mazalot,” which is basically the occult practice of astrology we see today. It is found in II Kings 23:5, when young king Josiah put away the corrupt priests who were worshipping the sun, moon and stars. We do not worship the stars; rather, as sons of God, we have been given dominion over all of creation.
THE STARS GOVERN TIMES AND SEASONS AND WE (THE SONS) GOVERN THEM
Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens
to divide the day from the night;
and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years’.
-Genesis 1:14
We see from this Scripture that when we understand what the heavens are saying, we know what to do.
In a recent spiritual encounter, the Father had me decree DIVINE ORDER and JUSTICE into the stars, and they began to worship Him and rejoice. Then, they began to explain to me: “Our job is to govern the times and the seasons, and to display His glory. Our delight is to be in perfect alignment with His will and to release His perfect timing. Mankind was given dominion over creation, including us; therefore we became subject to futility at the fall. As you rise and take your place, bringing us back into alignment, we will be the vehicle of His will manifesting upon the earth. We are responsible to steward ‘due time,’ ‘perfect time,’ ‘the fullness of time,’ and ‘the time of life.’ We bow to the verdicts of the heavenly court, releasing the seasons of judgment, justice, grace, mercy and peace upon the earth. We cooperate with the Jubilee season by ‘redeeming the time,’ according to the edicts of the Father. And it is our great delight to do this. All creation longs to be fully submitted to our Holy and Righteous King, for His kindness and generosity have no end!”
Then they began to sing praise to God, each in their own way, forming a heavenly symphony of sound, light, frequency and color that began to resonate in every fiber of my being. And the longer I stayed, the more I began to resonate and vibrate, like sympathetic vibration in a stringed instrument. The Father then spoke, “The sons of Issachar knew the times and seasons, but I am raising up My sons to govern the times and seasons. Those who practice lawlessness have grieved the celestial bodies by forcing them out of alignment with My will, but My justice is now being released on their behalf, as these lawless ones are judged and displaced, and then replaced by My sons, who can be trusted to bring them into proper alignment. This is why creation groans and travails for their manifestation.” (Romans 8:19-22)
THE STARS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD & PREACH THE GOSPEL (WHICH CONTINUES TO UNFOLD)
God’s splendor is a tale that is told;
his testament is written in the stars.
Space itself speaks his story every day
through the marvels of the heavens.
His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky,
showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.
Each day gushes out its messageto the next,
night with night whispering its knowledge to all.
Without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard,
Yet all the world can see its story.
Everywhere its gospel is clearly read so all may know.
-Psalm 19:1-4 TPT
Romans 1:20 tells us that there has never been a time when mankind was without a witness written in the stars. Some of you may be familiar with the book The Witness of the Stars, by E.W. Bullinger, which explains how the entire Gospel, from the fall to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, is literally illustrated in the stars. This is certainly true. But did you know that the Gospel isn’t finished? Yes, when Jesus hung on the cross, He cried “It is finished!” for He had completed His redemptive work. But He is the “Firstborn among many brethren” – us (Romans 8:29)! We are to do the “greater works” (John 14:12). He is the Stone cut without hands that has become the Mountain filling the whole earth – through us (Daniel 2:34)! He is coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).
So, if the Gospel isn’t finished and the heavenly story continues to unfold, what are stars telling us? Right now, they are speaking of an epic transition called the Procession of the Equinoxes.
THE PROCESSION OF THE EQUINOXES
Are you ready for a little science lesson that will explain exactly how this works?
- The earth revolves counterclockwise around the sun every 365 ¼ days.
- The earth rotates on its axis every 24 hours, giving us a different view of the sun, moon and stars.
- The earth spins on it’s axis, wobbling like a spinning top, because of a 23.5 degree tilt. It takes 72 years for this wobble to move 1% on the celestial sphere. One full wobble takes 26,000 years. During that 26,000 years, we have differing views of the 12 constellations.
- If you drew a straight line through the earth on the spring equinox, the constellation that line is pointed toward is the constellation or “age” or “house” that we are considered to be in. Every 2,000 or so years, the sun’s position at the spring equinox moves in front of another one of the 12 constellations, ultimately completing this 26,000 year cycle. This is called the procession of the equinoxes.
- There is much disagreement concerning when the “procession of the ages” take place. Astronomers divide the 26,000 year cycle into 12 equal 2150 ages, not taking into consideration that some constellations are larger than others. It really is what Jesus described in Matthew 24:36 when He said, “No man knows the day or hour.” But I believe we are right in the middle of that 2,000 year transition.
Did you know that this cycle through the 12 houses of the Mazzaroth is found in Proverbs 8:27, when Wisdom says, “ When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the deep.” That word compass is Strongs #2329, which literally means: “circle, circuit, compass.”
It was roughly 2000 years between the birth/creation of God’s son, Adam and the supernatural birth of Abraham’s son, Isaac. It was roughly 2000 years between the birth of Isaac and the supernatural births of John the Baptist and Jesus. And it is roughly 2000 years since the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ to today. Are you seeing a pattern here?
Do you remember last week when we talked about how Abraham, Sarah, Zechariah and Elizabeth all experienced reproductive death and supernatural new life, as a sign and a testimony of what was happening in the stars and upon the earth? Both Isaac and John the Baptist were born during a transition season. Their parents were a picture that a transition generation must endure the death of the old and also give birth to the new.
So, about the time Isaac was born, the earth transitioned into the constellation Aries. Do you know what Aries is a picture of? A ram. Remember in Genesis 22 when Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac on Mt. Moriah and God provided a ram?
About the time John the Baptist and Jesus were born, the earth transitioned into the constellation Pisces, which is a picture of a fish. Now, what do you think of when you see the sign of the fish? Christianity or the church. At first, it might not sound like a good thing that we are transitioning out of that age, until you realize that we are actually transitioning out of religion and into the age of the mighty outpouring!
THE OUTPOURING
The next chapter in our heavenly constellation story is Aquarius, which is the water bearer. Did you know that Jesus foretold this transition in Scripture?
And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city,
a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water;
follow him into the house which he enters.
-Luke 22:10
This “man” is the face of the man in Revelation 4:7. The face of the man is God’s mature sons who have been schooled by Jesus during the age of Pisces. Now, we rise up to rule and reign out of heaven into the earth and to co-create with Him! Jesus was telling us to follow the water-bearer and to go into the HOUSE that he goes in. He was telling us to follow this spiritual expansion and rebirth. He was preparing us for this huge transition and crucial time in advance.
Jesus prepared us for the Age of Aquarius, the water bearer in Matthew 24:37, when He said,
As it was in the days of Noah (water),
so will it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man (the face of the man).
For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.
-Habakkuk 2:14
Again, there is much speculation as to exactly when this transition takes place, and, by the very nature of transition, there is overlap. But, because of the timing of my own spiritual transition from the realm of revelation to the realm of encounter, I personally believe we stepped into the Age of Aquarius in 2012. Some astronomers also feel this to be true, because of the positioning of a star named Regulus going from Leo to Virgo and because of some’s interpretation of the border between Pisces and Aquarius. And, it is very interesting that the Mayan calendar ended in 2012. I believe this is because the Mayans, using occult religion, could see no farther than the age of religion. They could not see into the time when God’s sons began rising to take their place in the heavens. They could not see into the age of the glorious outpouring that is to come.
On August 15, 2012, I saw an Associated Press article entitled “Star Births seen on Cosmic Scale in Distant Galaxy.” It said:
“Scientists have found a cosmic supermom. It’s a galaxy that gives births to more stars in a day than ours does in a year. Astronomers used NASA’s Chandra X-Ray telescope to spot this distant gigantic galaxy creating about 740 new stars a year. By comparison, our Milky Way galaxy spawns just about one new star each year.
The galaxy is about 5.7 billion light years away in the center of a recently discovered cluster of galaxies that give off the brightest X-ray glow astronomers have seen. It is by far the biggest creation of stars that astronomers have seen for this kind of galaxy. Other types, such as colliding galaxies, can produce even more stars, astronomers said. But this is the size, type and age of galaxy that shouldn’t be producing stars at such a rapid pace, said the authors of a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature. “It’s very extreme,” said Harvard University astronomer Ryan Foley, co-author of the study. “It pushes the boundaries of what we understand.” The unnamed galaxy (officially known by a string of letters and numbers) is about 3 trillion times the size of our sun, said study lead author Michael McDonald of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
There’s another strange thing about this galaxy. It’s fairly mature, maybe 6 billion years old. Usually, this kind “don’t do anything new… what we call red and dead,” McDonald said in an interview. “It seems to have come back to life for some reason.” Because of that back-to-life situation, the team of 85 astronomers has nicknamed the galaxy cluster Phoenix, after the bird that rises from the ashes. The galaxy that is producing the stars at a rate of two per day is the biggest and most prominent of many galaxies there.”
Science is even confirming…. THE HEAVENS ARE DISPLAYING THE BIRTHING OF GOD’S SONS FROM OUT OF THE CHURCH!
